Birds start to sing, but it's still dark outside. I huddle up in my sleeping bag, I'm very cold. No use to have a look on my clocker, I know it's more or less 5h30 a.m. : at this time, cold and humidity arrived, and I'm going to be frozen during to next two hours. Fortunately, I've got a jumpsuit protecting against cold, so I'm able to survive until the sun arriving, at about 7 o'clock. Breakfast in the sleeping bag (bread, nutela, frozen water), and after that, no choice, I have to dress up... so, now, I run : my cloths, quickly, to not feel damp trousers, damp socks, and I make my bag. And I go out, I remove my tent, and let's go.
Generaly, the 2 first hours pass quickly, without I realize it. Usually, the moring, I look for a supplying point to buy something to eat until the next breakfast (bread, paste, ham...). I still have my bottle of water, the one of the start, and I fill up it to the various springs I meet on my way (each farm as got her own in switzerland), or I go in a bar, or ask for someone.
The lunch is at 12 or 13h, and I try to stay sit down 45 minutes at least. Sometimes, I'm tirred, and the stop can be longer, but it's exceptional. And I start again. It's always harder the afternoon : the time seems to pass slowly, and the closer is the daily destination, the less high is the motivation, and my ankles start to hurt (tendonitis). So, the littles stops are more frequent : 5 minutes there, 5 minutes here... Generally, at the end, I have two hours or more of stop in a 10 or 12 hours day (starting at 8 a.m., arriving about 7 or 8 p.m.). Then I choose a place to camp rough : in a wood, in the open country, but a dicret place, far of houses if I can, where I see no one, and where no one can see me. Quiet.
I build my tent and cook something hot. then, I've got the time to make a note of the days, and sleep about 9h, 9:30 pm.
